Scholarships

The majority of our scholarship funds come from private donors and TCM affiliated organizations who have a sincere interest in supporting Five Branches students and the growth of the TCM profession. Students attending Five Branches are eligible for numerous scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 per academic year.

Applicants are considered based on their statement of purpose, entrance GPA, community involvement, and financial status. Deadlines for scholarship application submissions are by or before Orientation Day. Late applications will not be reviewed.

Five Branches University Outstanding Applicant Scholarship

Five Branches University awards three scholarships for entering students each semester – per campus – in the amounts of $500, $750, and $1000.00. Awards are granted to students who maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater, have demonstrated outstanding academic and professional achievement, and are in need of financial assistance. Applicants are considered based on their statement of purpose, entrance GPA, community involvement, and financial status. Deadlines for scholarship application submissions are by or before Orientation Day. Late applications will not be reviewed.

The Paola Accusani Scholarship is offered through a generous donation by Paola Accusani, a previous student and patient of the University. A scholarship of $7000 (paid towards tuition) will be granted biannually to a Five Branches senior student who wishes to practice in a community with no practicing licensed acupuncturist, or an extremely low ratio of LAcs to population. The grant is intended to assist the recipient in establishing or expanding an existing acupuncture practice in an under-served community. For more information about this scholarship contact the Admissions department.

In recognition of Five Branches students, who consistently boast the #1 passing scores on their board exams, NuHerbs has elected to include Five Branches students in the running for their $2,000 scholarship award.
